I’m Melissa, a London-based audiobook production specialist with just under 10 years of in-house publishing experience. I work with independent publishers, self-published authors and studios who want to expand their audiobook offering strategically — without wasted budget, unclear ROI, or production overwhelm.
This includes backlist audio expansion, full, flexible casting & production support, audio strategy & insight conversations, and developing audiobook production workflows.
I bring nearly a decade of in-house publishing experience at publishers including Macmillan and W. F. Howes Ltd: I have worked on over 800 audiobooks, and overseen 1,000+ audiobook projects and counting. I have also independently supported the roll out of multiple AI pilot projects. I have a publisher’s editorial & commercial instinct and, alongside my operational, technical and strategic expertise, I help to ensure audio decisions are both creatively strong & commercially sound.
My approach is research and market awareness-driven, and draw upon data to guide informed decisions.
